Pretty

I spent many hours yesterday working on decorating our tree, and finally, she's done! Basically. I'm sure I'll keep tweaking and rearranging and adding, but for now it's done.

We raised it up a little by setting the base on my wreath container. I'm planning on making a burlap skirt to cover it all, but for now a scarf does the job.

There are a few handmade ornaments on it, including this deer and the acorn in the photo above.


This is one of Hakan's creations from last Christmas.



Since our silver, mirrored tree topper didn't really "go" with the colors, I made this one using milkweed pods and some glitter.


This has definitely helped to get me into the Christmas spirit!
