I like doors.

Just a few minutes ago I gained a new found appreciation for doors. As I walked out of our guest room and closed the door behind me, suddenly the commotion my kids were making on the other side of that door was quieter and far less annoying. "I'm so glad I have this door," I thought.
Then I started noticing the other doors in my house.
There are lots, and they're all very useful.

They're good for hiding kids...

...and hiding messes...

...and muffling the noise from rowdy wrestling matches.

They're good for hanging things behind...

...and in front of.

They provide privacy...

...and protection from weather and strangers.

Yep. I like doors. Especially closed ones.

Is that a weird thing to blog about?
Maybe I'll delete it later.

I think it was a great idea. Door are underappreciated I think. I will be kinder to my doors from now on. Nothing is better than a little privacy, bathrooms would just be horrible without them.
