From Idaho Falls we all drove down to Salt Lake City on Sunday to spend some time with my brothers and their wives. We stayed at Keith and Rachelle's house and that eevening Todd and Kristen came up from Orem for dinner.
Todd took us to a nearby park for a little family photo shoot (more on that later), and afterwards we had a delicious meal of homemade pizza, pasta and salad.
Is there anything funnier than scaring the living daylights out of a little kid?? No. No, there is not.
The next day Keith took us to the Red Butte Garden, which was absolutely spectacular.
We saw two snakes on the paths within the first few minutes of getting there. For the rest of the afternoon the kids were more interested in spotting more snakes than enjoying the beautiful flowers and plants.
The koi and ducks in this pond were a big hit.
Personally, I really liked the rose garden. It was just an explosion of color and perfume.
This big pink one had a bunch of bees digging around inside the middle of it.
There's an outdoor concert area there where notable entertainers perform during the summer.
I took so many photos during our visit that I'm going to have to break them up into separate posts. So stay tuned!

That picture of Todd scaring Finnley made it look like Finn's hair was standing straight up. Or maybe it was. ;) Dad
