Okay, back to the road trip.
One evening Keith and Rachelle had a friend of theirs come over for dinner. He's a firefighter and after dinner he took the kids out to his truck to try on his gear. CLEARLY, this was genius.

On Tuesday Keith took the kids and I to the
Natural History Museum of Utah.
What. A. Place.
Seeing these scientists at work, Pyper declared that she and Hakan would be paleontologists and could work side-by-side on fossils. How cute is that?!
I really loved this huge wall with these mounted skulls on it.
When we'd made our way to the top floor we went outside onto the deck and saw this cool horizontal rainbow.
Right here it even looks like it's bending a little upside down.
Had to get a photo of us all in the mirrored windows! (Sorry, Rowan. Kinda lost your face there.)
To Keith and Rachelle: THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU! We always LOVE coming to visit you guys and you're always such fantastic hosts! Big thanks to Keith for our day at the museum, for being so very helpful (and patient) with the kids and spending some of your precious days off with us! (You remind me of Dad in a lot of ways!)
To Todd and Kristen: We were so glad we got to see you guys, if only for a few hours while we were in Utah. Thanks for coming up to spend time with us, and hopefully next time we get together it will be for longer! We love and miss you TONS!
