Home again, home again jiggidy jog

We got home from our trip to Rexburg/Idaho Falls Sunday evening, then spent yesterday with Aaron's folks and his sister & her two boys. They left unexpectedly early this morning, so we have a whole day with Aaron home and nothing to do! Well, not nothing. There will be grocery shopping, a chiropractor appointment, and probably some unpacking, but nothing important. Anyway, "the big trip" post will have to come later 'cause I'm just not up for it at the moment.

Check this out- my little Smoochie has started to break out! Aaaack!! Please don't let it be like last time! And to show you what I'm talking about, here's a photo of "last time":


That's Hakan at exactly one month old. See all that red and orange crusty grossness that's starting to scab up all over his face and ear? Yeah, disgusting, right? We thought for sure it was some type of serious allergic reaction to something, but it turned out to be just a horrible case of baby acne. Actually, this picture was taken after he'd started to get better- this isn't even the worst it looked!

Well, here's Finn at one month and two days:

So far just a few bumps showing up on the sides of his forehead and cheeks. Hopefully that's all he gets. (You can sure tell these two are brothers from these photos, huh? Funny how much chubbier Finnley is, though. ;)

Right now he's snoozing on the daybed behind me in this lovely little surprise that was sitting on our doorstep when we got home Sunday.
