I just added the list of artists on my iPod to my blog and am noticing that I don't really have a "taste" in music. I know what I don't like (heavy metal, super twangy country, hard rap), but as far as what I do like goes, it's kind of widespread.
So if anyone has a suggestion for a good song/album/artist I'd love some input. My iPod needs updating so help me out! Here's my suggestion: check out Sam Phillips (she does the background music on "Gilmore Girls" a lot). Her voice has this smooth, deep kind of vintage sound to it and I like that she uses real instruments (not synthesizers) for accompaniment- piano, strings, guitar, drums. So far my favorite songs are "Reflecting Light" and "All Night". Go listen!
