This week my Mom called to see if it would be alright for her to come and spend her long Memorial Day weekend with us. Well, of course, I said! So last night she arrived after a 10+ hour drive and was immediately attacked by two very excited little kids who'd been watching for her from their bedroom window. She presented them with a couple of new books, then graciously shared her "squeaky cheese" and read to them over and over again. Today we decided to drive into Boise and have a yummy lunch of orange chicken at Panda Express in the mall, then headed into downtown to visit the Discovery Center. We'd been to the zoo which is right next door, but hadn't yet been to this little science center. The kids had a great time running around trying everything out. They had some pretty neat stuff there, so we'll have to go back again later this summer after they've changed up the exhibit. What a fun day with Grandma Pam!!
